WHAT EXACTLY IS 'WINDSOR HILLS BEST' ALL ABOUT? WindsorHillsBest.com is a personal website linking service created and maintained by a Windsor Hills multiple property owner. All guest inquiries are strictly direct one on one to a listed owner through the contact info that has been placed on their own sites. We have found from first hand experience that a general guest inquiry option which gets sent to all listings at once has consistently proven to create a constant competitive and frustrating reverse auction lowest price bidding environment amongst owners. Therefore, to eliminate this stressful and aggravating situation, we do not have one here. There is no fee to link to a personal rental website hosted on your server from Windsor Hills Best. The time, effort and talent needed to do a project like this plus the server space needed to host it is a donation to the cause in free spirit on our part. SO WHAT'S THE CATCH? WHB is quite unlike the average commercial pay to list website. You'll find that we are not just another typical example of the endless parade of costly vacation rental opportunists coming on to you with their hand out looking for a piece of your action. WHB's sole purpose in life is to promote our beautiful resort the best way we know how without charging our fellow owners who list with us a dime in the process. We do however have a few basic requirements that must be met in order for your own rental website to be linked to..... You must be the actual owner of the Windsor Hills property in question. We do not allow rental agents, property management companies, or any other third party to list a property here. In addition, a search engine attracting reciprocal link back to WHB that actually is beneficial to both sites involved must be installed on your main site page before we will link to you and kept operational afterwards. Most importantly: Take note that our name is Windsor Hills Best for a good reason. It is not Deal Or No Deal, The Price Is Right, or Santa Claus Is Coming To Town. In other words, with the exception of an occasional slow season promotion, we expect that your normal minimum floor posted rates be kept within the same ballpark as other WHB listings in your category. If your business model involves drastically lowballing your fellow Windsor Hills owners by posting ridiculous giveaway Econo Lodge rates please do not insult us by asking for the free advertising, increased search engine exposure, and the potential for higher rental booking ratios that WHB can provide. While we strive to give our guests a tremendous amount of value for their vacation dollars, we did not create this website in order to help subsidize cheap getaways for bargain hunters. It is our position that giving away the farm only serves to attract and encourage an undesirable, uncaring renter element that adversely affects personal property, other guests, and the resort's reputation as a high quality 5 star family vacation destination. This counterproductive hard sell sales tactic which essentially amounts to shooting yourself in the foot while stabbing your resort in the back, is totally unacceptable on WHB and will not be tolerated. MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY.....HOW DO I COME ABOARD WHB? Once you and your website have qualified, you are most certainly welcome to become a group member of our 'family' of Windsor Hills homeowners. You will find that Windsor Hills Best is a uniquely different kind of home owner's site that works for it's members, not the other way around. Remember, we are not looking to become another overstuffed VRBO. Our existing small size works to our members advantage because it is easy for potential guests to browse the site and look at what is listed without becoming overwhelmed. Becoming the biggest kid on the block was never our intent....we're just working on being the most visible to search engines for Windsor Hills. If you would like to join us and reap the benefits, that's fine. Do it while you still can. The day may soon come when we don't accept any new listings without a referral by an existing member. As long as you are a verified Windsor Hills homeowner, the price is a very reasonable onetime setup fee of $75.00 which also includes minor tweaks and updates as needed plus search engine optimization, and $125.00 per year to host it on our server. A ton less than what most web geeks get or big commercial type sites would charge for this many photos and your website also gets placed higher on our listings if we build it for you. Our vacation rental websites may not be full of totally unnecessary bandwidth robbing eye candy, but they get the job done for you in an attractive and fully functional package.
