Blue Springs State Park (Bring a picnic lunch and see the manatees)

St. Johns River Cruises (Highly recommended)

Cypress Gardens (A lot less expensive than Disney and within reasonable driving distance)

Bok Sanctuary (Not far from Cypress Gardens and very beautiful)

Lone Cabbage Fish Camp and Airboat Rides (On the way to or back from KSC stop in for good food and a great airboat ride)

Kennedy Space Center (Watch a shuttle launch if you're lucky)

Gatorland (Another excellent alternative to expensive theme parks)

Water Parks (Very cool)

Old Town (Shops, rides, and classic cars)

Orlando Science Center (A fun and informative rainy day family excursion)
